Reparations Club is a concept bookshop + creative space Curated by Blackness® in Los Angeles, CA. As one of LA’s first Black-woman owned bookshops, Rep Club has partnered with Well Read Black Girl, Noname's Book Club, Nike x Virgil Abloh, and has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and many more.
We are a growing but very small, human, and nimble team led by founder Jazzi McGilbert, a queer Black woman and creative director from South Central Los Angeles. The shop is a labor of love, dedicated to Jazzi's mother, Joyce aka Neicie, who passed away just nine months before our store opening.
